We’re Here to Help
We understand that going to the dentist can be an overwhelming experience, especially first-time visits. We do everything possible to put your concerns and anxieties at ease.
Our goal is to provide a positive, comfortable patient experience. We vow to:
What to Expect
Dr. Hershkowitz will perform a complete oral examination and discuss the results of the examination with you, explaining any treatment you may need. This exam is important and can identify conditions such as tooth decay, periodontal disease, and even oral cancer.
Depending on the condition of your teeth and gums, teeth cleaning may be performed during this first visit, or might be scheduled for a follow-up visit.
Your first appointment may take as long as 1–1½ hours. Patients under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent.
What to Bring
To make your visit as pleasant and brief as possible, there are a few things you should bring with you.
If you’ve had dental x-rays in the last six months, please bring them with you. If you don’t have them or it has been longer than 6 months, we will take new x-rays.
You should also bring identification and insurance information.
We know your time is valuable, and like to minimize time spent in the waiting area. We have 3 simple forms for you to complete, please print and complete prior to your appointment. With just a few simple forms, we’ll ask for relevant medical history, any medications you might be taking, your dental history, and any dental insurance coverage you may have.
We do not take lightly the trust our patients place in our abilities. A healthy, beautiful smile is waiting for you!
